Adrian BAICUSI
Director General
Mr. Adrian Baicusi was appointed Director General of the Romanian Power Grid Company “Traselectrica” on January 21, 2009, after having formerly been general manager for Siemens Romania between 2003 – 2008 and general manager of German company Depenbrock Bau from 2008 to 2009.
He had previously joined OMV Romania as financial director and executive director (1999 – 2003).
Between 1995 – 1997 Mr. Baicusi coordinated the department for methodology and synthesis of the Agency for Restructuring by the Government of Romania, and was involved in over 50 projects for assessment and feasibility studies in various industrial sectors.
Mr. Baicusi is a 1988 graduate from the Academy of Economic Studies and got the MBA from Harvard Business School in 1993. Further on he attended several training courses: “Western Michigan University (USA), in 1995, related to companies merging and acquisition issues; “Adam Smith Institute (Great Britain)” on restructuring of public companies, “JICA/Economic Planning Agency (Tokyo)” for macroeconomy in 1996.
Mr. Adrian Baicusi is the author of over 80 scientific papers on restructuring issues, presented in the country and abroad and of 2 books referring to financial analysis and business plan.
Mr. Baicusi is member of the General Association of Economists in Romania (AGER) and of the Association for Financial Analysis.
