Bucharest, January 12th, 2011- His Excellency Mr. Martin HARRIS, Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland paid a visit to the headquarters of the National Power Grid Company Transelectrica where he met with Transelectrica?s director general, Mr. Stelian Alexandru Gal, with Mr. Victor Vevera, counsellor of the first minister as well as with experts from the executive management of Transelectrica. The discussion agenda included topics about the current situation and development prospects of the National Power Grid Company Transelectrica, emphasis being laid on the protection of the electric power critical infrastructure, while also identifying possible British - Romanian partnerships for such projects of Transelectrica meant to protect the critical infrastructure
      The discussions held on this occasion pointed out the possibility to enhance cooperation in the field of critical infrastructure protection.
