In 1905 the construction of Sadu 2 hydro power Power plant started. It was commissioned in 1907. Sadu 2 plant is 5 km upstream to Sadu 1.
    It operated at 11000 V. Electricity was transmitted up to Sibiu, where the 11000/4000 V transforemers were mounted.
    In 1907 the 10/4 kV transforming substation was commissioned, which included Sadu 2 - Sibiu overhead electric line as well.
