Its mission is to provide competitive power transmission services by meeting the quality standards under reliable conditions and effective costs of the National Power System, with limited environmental impacts up to the admitted level Europe-wide.
ST Timisoara is operating over four the territory of four counties: Timis, Arad, Caras-Severin and Hunedoara.
Goals:
- power transmission grid operation under safe and efficient conditions ;
- meeting the electricity demand appropriate to a market economy and to a civilized life style;
- quality, affordable prices and safety supply of customers (players on the wholesale electricity market), with the view of:
- overcoming the risks threatening their lives or health;
- avoiding the non-compliance with the transmitted electricity parameters;
- limiting the environmental impacts up to the admitted European level;
- enhancing the quality by means of increasing the efficiency of the whole flow sheet of the electricity transmission, within the branch business;
- optimizing the overall costs by reducing the non-quality owing costs, such as:
- defect prevention costs (tests, inspection, assessment);
- damages paid to the customers, penalties, fines;
- determining a unitary set of requirements for selecting the providers of products and services;
- creating the customer-supplier relationship among the organizational structures of the power branch.
